Join us on a magical journey to Errachidia, passing through the Ouled Chaker oasis, then Erfoud and Khamlia, and arriving in Merzouga, where unique experiences await you in the heart of the desert sands.
In this program, you’ll enjoy an exciting tour on bikes and quad bikes, discovering the endless beauty and charm of the desert. You’ll immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of Merzouga, where you can relax and enjoy the enchanting sounds of nature and the golden sands stretching endlessly.
An unforgettable experience among the desert sands, where adventure meets comfort, allowing you to experience moments of peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Merzouga awaits you to be your next destination for a holiday filled with fun, excitement, and relaxation.
The journey begins at 6:00 PM from Tetouan , then at 7:00 PM from Tangier, and at 8:30 PM from Al Larache . Participants will stop freely for dinner, followed by an introductory session among participants.
Upon arrival day, everyone arrives in Errachidia at 8:00 AM. Breakfast will be at café gare afriquia or any other café (not included). The group then heads towards Merzouga via Erfoud, stopping for a group photo in front of the scenic oasis of Oulad Cheker (Oasis Ziz).
At 10:30 AM, the group arrives in Merzouga and settles hotel, considered one of the best in the region, with rooms allocated for two or three persons as chosen. Guests are welcomed with tea, and free time is given for showering and relaxing by the hotel pool. Lunch is served, including a chicken dish and seasonal fruits (included).
Time is allocated for rest, swimming, and enjoying the tranquility of the desert. As the sun sets, participants can choose an optional 1.5-hour quad biking tour to the top of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi for one of the world’s most beautiful sunsets. Dinner is served at the hotel (included), followed by an evening of local Gnawa music and folklore entertainment before overnight stay at the hotel.
At 8:00 AM, breakfast is served at the hotel (included). At 9:00 AM, a four-hour desert tour by 4×4 vehicles begins, including a visit to the midday herb market in Merzouga for local herbs, a visit to the 4×4 car museum near the Salwa Palace. The tour also includes stops at Bedouin nomads to learn about their way of life, a stop near the Moroccan-Algerian border at Kilometer 20 point, a visit to mineral extraction mines, and a visit to the Khamlia village to enjoy Gnaoua music with Saharan tea. The tour concludes with a return race along the old Paris-Dakar Rally route. (Participation in this optional tour is available for only 150 dirhams for five hours of exploration).
At 2:00 PM, participants return to the hotel for lunch, which includes a variety of salads, beef tagine with vegetables, and fruits (included). Afterwards, time is allocated for relaxation (showering, swimming, etc.).
At 6:15 PM, participants prepare for camel riding towards the golden sands (included), where they enjoy the sunset view from the top of the sand dunes, ranked among the top three sunsets in the world. After descending from the summit, participants return to the hotel and spend free time enjoying the tranquility of the desert.
A communal dinner is served at the hotel (included), followed by a quiet bonfire and a desert evening with folk music (TamTam & Jumbay). Participants end their day enjoying the view of the sparkling stars in the sky and sleep amidst the embrace of the sands.
The day begins with waking up to the magnificent sunrise, followed by breakfast at the hotel (included). Afterward, the journey heads towards Erfoud city to purchase local dates. Participants stop in Zaida city for lunch (not included). Finally, the program concludes and the return journey begins with several rest stops.
